Actress. Along with her sister Lee Wilde, she formed the Wilde Twins who were regularly cast in MGM musicals and comedies during the 1940s. Born Mary Lyn Wilde, both she and her sister began entertaining early in life as hymn singers in their church. This led to opportunities on local radio followed by a singing engagement with the Ray Noble Orchestra, as well as The Bob Crosby Orchestra. The made their film debut in the musical short "Jingle Belles" (1941), which starred Gloria Jean. The sisters will probably be remembered for the Mickey Rooney film "Andy Hardy's Blonde Trouble" (1944), in which they drive the title character crazy with confusion. Other films with the pair include "Twice Blessed" (1945), "Campus Honeymoon" (1948) and "Look for the Silver Lining" (1949). Lyn would go on to appear solo in the films "Sheriff of Wichita" (1949) and "The Girl Next Door" (1953).
