Final Rites Held At Sharon For Lewis E. Usry
Funeral services were held for Mr. Lewis Edmond Usry, 76, of Forest, on Friday afternoon, May 31st, at 3:30 from the Sharon Baptist Church with Elder Stanley Wade officiating. Interment was in the Sharon Cemetery with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in charge.
Mr. Ursy passed away in the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. M. Dennis, on Wednesday afternoon. He was a member of the Sharon Primitive Baptist Church.
The survivors are four daughters. Mrs. S. B. Simmons of Philadelphia, Mrs. H. M. Dennis of Forest, Mrs. James Simmons of Morton, and Mrs. L. R. Simmons of Jackson; five sons, N. C. Usry of Lake, Barto Usry of Jackson, L. H. Usry of Jackson, Earl Usry of Villa Rica, Ga., and Marvin Usry of Florence, Ky.; fifteen grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Oliver Mangum of Forest, Mrs. Odell Greer, and Mrs. Ad- die Zell Kennedy, both of Houston, Tex.; and three brothers, Jessie, Edgar, and J. B. Usry, all of Jackson.
The pallbearers were nephews.
