Judith Binford Hamilton, age 69, of Plano, Texas, joined her Lord and Savior on June 17, 2013. She was born in Tahlequah, Oklahoma on January 22, 1944 to Martha and Harry Binford. Judith grew up in Norman, Oklahoma where she met her beloved husband of 42 years. Upon graduating from The University of Oklahoma, she began her life-long passions of teaching children and instilling a love of reading and music. Throughout her life, she lived in many states where she left a trail of life long friends: spending 20 years in Columbus, Ohio, she taught in both the Worthington City Schools and at St. Charles Preparatory School. She retired from the Plano Independent School District and was a long time volunteer in several Plano elementary school libraries. Judith is survived by her husband, Robert A. Hamilton of Plano; two children - Michael R. Hamilton and Amy M. (Jason) Intres, both of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren - Alexander and Leia Intres; a brother - HQ Binford of Norman, Oklahoma; two sisters - Christina (Steve) Ayers of Oklahoma City and Sally (Ron) Stutes of Benbrook, Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and her 'adopted' Schuster family. A service in celebration of her beautiful life will be on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Allen Family Funeral Options. If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Judith's name to the American Cancer Society.
