Mrs. Barbara Moore, 85, of
Bethesda, MD, formerly of
Newhall, WV, died Saturday
morning, Feb. 1, in a Beth-
esda hospital following a
long illness.
Born in Tazewell County, she
was a daughter of the late
Fields and Malinda Brown Helton.
Survivors include four daughters,
Mrs. Frances Quesenberry of
Kensington, MD, Mrs. Ruth Driggers
of Tacoma, MD, Mrs. Lexie Leigh
of Langley Park, MD, Mrs. Mary
Feller of Rockville, MD; two sons,
Ralph Moore of Petersbury, VA,
Orville Moore of Newhall; one
sister, Mrs. Mattie Beavers of
Richlands, VA; several grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted
Monday at the Tazewell County
Funeral chapel with Rev. Carter
Wells officiating. Burial followed
in the Hankins Cemetery at Richlands.
