Clarence "Kent" Eddy, 58, of Marietta, Ohio passed away Sunday (October 9, 2016) with his loving wife by his side in the presence of his loved ones as he wanted it to be while fighting his courageous battle with cancer to the end.

He was born on December 2, 1957 in Marietta, Ohio, the son of Grace and Junior Eddy.

He was a former employee at C&C Dodge Toyota as an Auto Body Technician, since 2002. He worked in the Auto Body industry starting back in the years as a child with his father. His field of employment was also his passion, restoring classic cars was a hobby for which he held great pride and passion, such as his last project, a 1975 Dodge Dart, as well as spending time with his grand kids whom were his #1 fans and also his pride and joy. Kent also enjoyed hunting of all kinds. Coon hunting with some good hunting buddies was hard to beat in his book.

He is survived by his best friend and wife Brenda of 27 years. He is also survived by his daughters, Angie Earley-Jackson (Susan) of Baltimore, MD, Alanna (Tom) Greathouse of Columbus, OH, Teara (Jason) Harper of Marietta, OH, 5 grandchildren, Austin, Aaron, Aamon, Trenton and Gracie; 2 sisters, Kathryn (Doug) Jacobs of Bay City, MI, and Regina Eddy of Columbus, OH, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Grace and Junior Eddy, and a sister Teresa Roberts. Also his father and mother in-law Fred and Mary Hart.

A funeral service will be held at 8 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike St., Marietta, OH with Ron Calvert officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of service on Wednesday.
