Jim Upshaw, 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family 28 Sep2016. He was born 26 Apr 1933 in West Plains, Missouri a son of Lee William and Levetra Irene Adams Upshaw.

He married Norma Lea Rowe on 4 Jan 1953; later divorced. He married Barbara Jean Bruce; later divorced. He married Shirley Stemm Thomas in 1979 and they shared 36 years together.

Jim worked for the Union Pacific Railroad retiring after 45 years.

He enjoyed raising and being with horses, Tennessee Walkers. He was involved with a horse riding club, enjoyed square dancing, traveling, camping and the Antelope Island Roundup. He also enjoyed the Old Time Fiddlers contest. But above all his greatest love and passion was his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Norma and sister and brother-in-law Betty and Richard French.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
