I found this handsome little guy outside my office window Monday morning.
After examination it became obvious that he was severely injured, most likely hit by a car.
His pelvis looked broken, he had little to no use of one or both back legs and he had an open wound to the stomach that the vets said was deep enough to see his intenstines.
I rushed him to a vet and then to the Everett animal shelter where he was cared for and kept comfortable until he passed away last night.
I don't know why I expected a different outcome but I thought he would make it since he lived for two days and was conscious.
Anyway, I have to say I'm a little sad that he didn't get to enjoy the long cat life he still had ahead of him, he was only 2 years old.
I KNOW, I'm a big softy. But I bonded with the little guy as we drove in the car together.

He was a gift from God to you to allow you to show him love. Showing him that people can be good and care. I know that in his heart he was so happy because he had found a friend in you.
