Olin Ray Redford, 80, of Edwardsville, Ill., born April 15, 1925, in Marine, Ill., died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006, at Eden Village Care Center, Glen Carbon, Ill.

Mr. Redford was an OTR owner operator and drove for Valley Steel Co., Centralia, Ill., for 30 years and drove for Associated Transport, St. Louis, Mo. He retired June 1992. He had served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a member of Eden United Church of Christ, Edwardsville, Ill., Teamster Local 668, St. Louis, Mo., a life member of VFW Post 1299 and American Legion Post 199 in Edwardsville, Ill., and a life member of Edwardsville Moose Lodge 1561, Edwardsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Dolly, nee Middleton, Redford; a brother, Omar Redford; and a sister, Marian Willimann.

Surviving are his wife, . . .; two daughters, . . . ; two grandchildren, . . . .; and a sister, Mildred Bast of Marine, Ill.

Memorials may be made to Edwardsville American Legion or Edwardsville Moose Lodge.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2006, at Weber Funeral Home, Edwardsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2006, at Weber Funeral Home, Edwardsville, Ill., with the Rev. Michael Krewson officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Cemetery, Edwardsville, Ill.
