(NOTE: Annie Branch Miller, wife of Charles Miller, was very close to her uncle Samuel Branch and took care of his widow Phoebe during the last five years of her life. Annie is the youngest child of Samuel Branch’s half brother John Wallace Branch. Her birth name is Sarah Anne Branch. Both Charles and Anne are buried in Branch Cemetery, though neither one died there.)
