Alonzo, JESUS "Jesse", was born on April 8, 1942 and passed away on December 15, 2004. He is preceded in death by his parents Ramon & Aurora Alonzo; and his brothers Pete & Juan Alonzo. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nora Alonzo; sons Edward Alonzo, Eric (Patty) Alonzo, Michael Alonzo; grandsons Justin Blake Garcia & Peyton Eric Alonzo; uncle Pablo Longoria; brothers Raymond Alonzo, Martin G. (Beatrice) Alonzo, Martin P. Alonzo; sisters Eva Palencio, Auora (Bob) Wible, Betty (Frank) Herrera, Delores (Ernest) Rangel; aunt Delores Gonzalez; plus numerous nephews, nieces, and friends. Jesse retired after 39 years with the U.S. Postal Service. In retirement, he was employed for nearly 5 years working his "dream job" for the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. He enjoyed his service to the organization everyday he would work. Anyone wishing to make a contribution in lieu of flowers can make a donation in Jesse's name to Special Care and Career Services, 4350 Sigma Rd., Suite 100, Farmers Branch, TX 75244.The Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm Friday, December 17, at the Hughes Funeral Home, North Chapel, located at 9700 Webb Chapel Rd., Dallas, TX 75220. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00pm Saturday, December 18, at the Calvary Hill Mausoleum Chapel with Father Bradley celebrant. Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
