"Mrs. Giuseppe Ricci
Mrs. Angelica Ricci, 68, wife of Giuseppe Ricci, of 34 Mill St., Johnston, died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness.
Born Aug. 3, 1889 in Valle Agricola, Italy the daughter of Elisa (Iannotti) Balestrina and the late Antonio Balestrina, she came to this country 64 years ago and settled in Johnston, where she resided until her death.
She was a communicant of St. Rocco's Church, Thornton, and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Society of the church.
Surviving, besides her husbnad and mother, are three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Barone, Johnston; Mrs. Albert DeFusco, Pacoima, Calif., and Mrs. Americo Almonte, Cape Cod, Mass.; eight sons, John, Oliver and Vincent Ricci, all of Providence; Carmine and Ralph Ricci, both of Johnston; Anthony Ricci of Cranston; and Orlando and Roland Ricci of North Providence; two sisters, the Misses Mary and Ann Simone, both of Johnston; three brothers, John Simone, Detroit, Mich.; and Anthony and Carlo Simone, both of Johnston; and 28 grandchildren.
