Born Feb. 19, 1939, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Genevieve (Stockmal) and Francis Archie.
Eleanor graduated from Cecilian Academy in 1956, and from Chestnut Hill College in 1961. She worked for Food & Drug Administration for 31 years and after her retirement became a pharmaceutical consultant in Puerto Rico. Eleanor loved all things Philadelphia especially Tastykake, cheesesteaks, and the Mummers. She was a longtime friend of Bill W.
Eleanor is survived by her daughter, Heather McCarron and son-in-law, Brian Tinneny, and grandchildren, Julia, Max, and Anna Sophie Tinneny.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, the late Kevin O' Connor and the late Thomas McCarron.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 22, at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Rt. 152 and Broad St., Hilltown, where the family will greet friends at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
