He was born on June 13, 1926, in Filer Township, Mich., and was the son of the late Joseph and Blanche (Nowakowski) Gregorski.
Harry served in the United States Navy as a Seaman First Class in the Asiatic Pacific Area during World War II, from Aug. 15, 1944, until June 6, 1946.
Harry married Alice Pieczynski on Oct. 30, 1948, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee. They celebrated over 66 years of marriage together, before her death on Dec. 14, 2014.
Harry was employed for 44 years with the Hardy Salt Company in Manistee, until his retirement in 1991. Harry also during his working career took care of the maintenance of the Coral Gables during its operation as well as after its closing.
He was a very devoted husband to his wife Alice, during their 66 years of marriage. His hobby was helping his children with projects at their homes as well as taking care of his own home. He was a member of the Catholic Community of Manistee (St. Joseph Catholic Church).
He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Rick Tokarchick, of Wayland, Mich., and Pam and Mike Janowiak, of Ludington, Mich.; four sons and daughters-in-law, Deacon Roger and Sharon Gregorski of Niles, Mich., Robert and Cathy Gregorski, of Scottville, Mich., Gerald and Christy Gregorski, of Manistee, Mich., and John and Jill Gregorski, of Elk Rapids, Mich.; 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister in-law, Delphine Kott, of Manistee, Mich.; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law, Gerald and Leanne Pieczynski, of Manistee, Mich., and Elaine Pieczynski, of Eastlake, Mich. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive him.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen Zielinski, Lorraine Veine and Gertrude Skocelas; an infant brother, Donald Gregorski; and his brothers, Edward and Walter Gregorski.
Mass of Christian funerals will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Manistee with the Rev. Richard Schaeffer celebrant. Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Manistee, where graveside military honors will be given by the members of the Manistee County United Veterans Council Ritual Squad.
