Dean Gregory

Dean Gregory Jones, 79, of Monticello, KY, died October 21, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born in Wayne County, KY on June 27, 1937.
She married Charlie Jones on March 29, 1958. To this union three children were raised: Nancy Jones Gregory, wife of Russell Gregory, Peggy Jones Burnette, wife of Edward Burnette, and son, Jerry Jones.
She was the daughter of Cleveland and Indie Koger Gregory, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by four brothers, Hershell, Clyde, Inman, and Dillard, and one sister, Helen Rigney.
She is survived by one sister, Doris Gregory. She was a grandmother to seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
She was a stay at home mother who was dedicated to her family and later in life went to work at Golden Years Nursing Home where she worked many years. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 24, 2016 after 5 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 1 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Bud Gregory Cemetery
