MORRISTOWN, July 5.--Funeral services over the remains of Mrs. J. C. Acuff were conducted from the late home Friday. Rev. Spencer Tunnell officiate, and interment was in Jarnagin cemetery.
Her death occurred Wednesday night at the family home. The deceased was fifty-two years of age, she was Miss Florence Butler before her marriage. The death of Mrs. Acuff was not unexpected as she had been in failing health for the past few years.
The deceased was a faithful wife and mother, an excellent neighbor and she will be greatly missed in the neighborhood in which she has lived for the last several years. The family have the sincere sympathy of their neighbors and friends Surviving Mrs. Acuff are her husband, J. C. Acuff, two daughters, Misses Alma and Velma Acuff; two sons, Cecil and Joe Acuff, all of Morristown, and one brother, Mr. Henry Butler, of Washburn."
