Actor. A native of Hobart, Australia, Morgan is probably best known for his role as Terry Sullivan in the Australian television series "The Sullivans" from 1976 to 1983, and Alan Brandon in the miniseries "Sons And Daughters" from 1984 to 1985. He also played the role of Cashy Martin in the 1983 film "Phar Lap." Among Morgan's other work was the films, "The Devil's Playground" (1976), "Break Of Day" (1976), "Innocent Prey" (1984), "Boy In The Bush" (1984), "Great Expectations, The Untold Story" (1986), "Outback Vampires" (1987), "Farewell To The King" (1989), "Blonde" (2001), and the television programs, "Homicide", "Solo One", "A Country Practice", "The Charmer", "Blue Heelers", "Home And Away", "Something In The Air", and "MDA." Morgan's last role was that of Detective Reg Masters in "Stingers" from 1999 to 2004. In 2005, Morgan was diagnosed with motor neuron disease. In June of 2006, he spoke with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation about his disease and announced he was retiring from acting. He died in Melbourne.
