Smokie found us in the mid 80s one day when my husband went to pick up our son at school. He saw this cute Chihuahua mixed breed dog running around different cars. He eventually made his way to our car and jumped right in when the car door was opened. Hubby put him back out and tried to leave but Smokie ran in front of the car and stood there until he opened the door. He jumped right back in and instantly became one of the family. Very very smart little dog! he left us in the early 90's.
