Galen D. Steinbach, age 69 of Everson passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2007. He was born on July 8, 1938 in Bellingham to Delmar and Irma (Humphries) Steinbach. Galen worked as a fish processor at Trident Seafood for over 30 years, and in his free time, he enjoyed restoring old cars. He loved to hunt and golf and he enjoyed cooking family dinners for his loved ones. Galen was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Marlene. He is survived by daughter, Janny (Cord) Osborn; sons, Tim and Terry Steinbach; brother, Sam Steinbach; sister, Ardene Martin; and grandchildren, Cassi, Jim, Josh, Jeremy, Matthew, Debbie, Kaitlyn, and Tyler. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2008, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Lakeway Inn, 7141 Lakeway Drive in Bellingham.
