Mrs. Agnes Owens
Mrs. Agnes V. Owens, 82, 4842 S. Topeka, Topeka, was dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital Sunday. She had an apparent cerebral hemorrhage.
She was born March 27, 1888, at Bluffs, Ill., and lived at Chapin, Ill., before she moved to Topeka in 1921. She was a member of Seaman Congregational Church.
Her husband, Henry Owens, died in 1968.
Survivors include three daughters, Iva Maree Owens, at home, Mrs. Eva B. Hansford, Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Dorothy W. Thompson, Landover, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Curry, 1818 N. Polk, and Eva Wolford, 1823 N. Polk; a brother, Harry K. Wolford, Sherman Oaks, Calif.; 14 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
NOTE: The first and middle names are reversed on the gravestone.
