Professional Football Player. He was an offensive lineman for both the Los Angeles Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League from 1976 to 1980. He played football collegiately at the University of Colorado before being drafted in the third round of the 1974 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. The Los Angeles Rams acquired him from the Bears after the draft and he played for them from 1976 to 1978, and again in 1980. He also played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 1978 to 1979. He played two seasons in the United States Football League from 1983 to 1984 for both the Boston and New Orleans Breakers. After his playing days were over, he returned to his hometown of San Bernardino, California and was active in the community. In fact, he raised $2 million for local high school sports in the area.
