Mrs. Anna Catherine McCall, Rimersburg, died on Feb. 27 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Somerville, where she had made her home for the past four years. Mrs. McCall had suffered a lingering illness. She was born Dec. 14, 1870 in Madison Twp., Clarion Co., the daughter of Adam and Caroline Bonnett Shoup. She lived near this community her entire life. She was married on March 23, 1893 to Chalmers H. McCall who survives. Other survivors include two sons and one daughter, Guy McCall, Clarion RD; Ross McCall, Rimersburg RD1; and Mrs. Somerville at whose home she died. Two brothers, Harvey Shoup, Pittsburgh and Wallace Shoup, Rimersburg, 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren also survive. Mrs. McCall was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Cherry Run. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Eugene Wetzel in the Hawk Funeral Home, Sligo, at 2 pm Wednesday. Interment was in Rimersburg cemetery.
