EILEEN ALLEN, 90, a resident of Ingleside, Texas passed away peacefully January 2, 2007. She was born in Cleo, Oklahoma on January 12, 1916 to George and Minnie Harper.

She owned a beauty shop in Ingleside in the 1950's and 1960's. She was a wonderful, caring Christian and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Ingleside.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Perry Allen; son, Norman Gary Allen; grandson, George Allen Oliver; sisters, Iris Starr and Lefa Carrico; brother, Bud Harper and two great-granddaughters.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Wayne (Carolyn) Allen of Ingleside, Texas; daughter, Betty Jo Oliver of Aransas Pass, Texas; daughter, Iona Mae Storms of Monroe, Louisiana; daughter-in-law, Colleen Allen of Ingleside; 10 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held Jan. 4 at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, Aransas Pass, TX. Graveside services were held Jan. 5 at San Patricio Memorial Gardens in Portland, Texas.
