Anna Alf, age 22, came with her cousin Gustav Alv, age 33, from Reetz, on the ship S. S. Graf Waldersee sailing from Hamburg 20 May 1904 which arrived at the Port of New York 3 June. Their Uncle Herman, living in Eau Claire, paid for their passage. They too were going to Eau Claire. They both had $9 in their possession on arrival. They married in November of the same year.

The funeral services of Mrs. Anna Elf will be held at her home on Dodge Street this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services will be at 2:30 at the German Lutheran church. The Reversnd A. F. Augustine will officiate in the remains will be interred in the German Lutheran cemetery. Mrs. Alf was 33 years of age. She is survived by her husband, three children and several close relatives.
