First with an attack of appendicitis and then with typhoid fever little Nina, eight year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Burrows, has made a desperate struggle for life. She passed the ordeal with appendicitis successfully, and was on the way to recovery, when symptoms of typhoid appeared. Where she contracted the disease is a mystery, but such it proved to be. In her weakened condition she was unable to successfully battle against this terrible disease and Tuesday afternoon she gave up the unequal struggle. All that could be done for the child was done, but to no avail.
Surely the parents have the sympathy of all in this great sorrow.
The funeral was held from the Vinton church yesterday afternoon.
