Walters - Funeral for DOROTHY HILL, 76, Walters, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Nazarene, Walters, with the Rev. Paul Metcalfe officiating.
Mrs. Hill died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2007, in Walters.
Burial will be in the Walters Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home.
She was born March 29, 1930, in Ringling, to Franklin Leslie and Mary Estelle Powell Arnold. She grew up and attended school in Healdton. She also lived in the Bray and Central High areas before moving to Lawton. She married Ralph Billy Hill on Dec. 10, 1950, in Lawton. They lived in various places throughout his career with the Army including France, Fort Hood, Texas, Germany, Fort Lewis, Wash., and Fort Sill. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Ed Goodnight, Mineola, Texas, and Susan and Lonnie Taylor, Walters; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen R. and Suzy Hill, Walters; four grandchildren, Mary Ann Beam, Duane Earl Smith Jr., Sean Patrick Taylor and Erin Elizabeth Taylor; a great-grandchild, Kristopher Beam; a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Delbert Davis, Canadian, Okla.; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Samuel Floyd Arnold; and sisters, Hazel Lucille Arnold and Edna Beatrice Howerton.
