Adolph Freeman (84) of Natchez went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at Natchez Community Hospital. Funeral Services were Friday, January 5, 2007 at Natchez Church of God with Rev. Julius Roberts, Rev. Steve Bullion and Rev. Walter Bateman. Burial was at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Mr. Freeman is the son of Lee and Annot Coleman Freeman. He was a member of the Natchez Church of God where he served on the Finance Committee and Chairman of the Usher Committee. He served in the United States Navy in World War II and retired from the Coca Cola Company in 1987.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Ina Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Effie Mae Brooks Freeman of Natchez. Sons; Lonnie, Jack, Dowyal and Lester. Daughters; Joyce Allred, Nina Deane Ashley and Wilma Welsh.

Brothers; Flavius Freeman, Otis Freeman, Larry Freeman. Sisters; Katherine Whittington, Era Dell Bateman, Faye Martin and Shirley Hughey.

Ten (10) Grandchildren; Christopher Freeman, Leah Whitfield, Lori Smith, Kenley Bailey, Brian Allred, Anthony Ashley, Steve Freeman, Shelly Kave, Heather Freeman, Little Phil Welsh.

Eleven (11) Great Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Pallbearers were Brian Allred, Anthony Ashley, Christopher Freeman, Steve Freeman, Doug Kave and Philip Welsh, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers were the Ushers of Natchez Church of God.
