Adam Sailer was born in Friedental, Crimea, S Russia to Andreas Sailer and Rosina Karoline Frasch. He immigrated to America in 1886.

He married Magdalena Isaak, daughter of Gottlieb Isaak and Louisa (Schultz) Oct 27 1989 in the school house at Krem, ND. The school was serving as a worship place then. Adam and Magdalena's marriage is listed as #1 in Mercer County in the new state of North Dakota. Witnesses were Samuel Sprecher and Solomon Isaak (Magdalena's brother).

Also married in this same school house were Magdalena's sibs Solomon Isaak to Maria Mueller/Miller, and Emilia to Fred Netzer.

He moved with his wife Magdalena, son Albert Jacob Sailer, father-in-law Gottlieb Isaak and related families (Solomon/Emilia) to the Eureka, SD area around 1892. Children born here were Ida (1893), Ernestine (1894), and Erwin (1896).

Adam and family moved to Mercer County, ND and settled in the Mannhaven area. Children born here were Otto (1999), Helena (1901), Hilda (1905), and Elma (1907).
