story of Alexander Chapman Campbell,the youngest child of Aaron George Campbell and Grace Williamson. Alexander moved to Louisiana, Pike, Missouri between 1836-1840 to clerk in his brother's (Joel Aaron Campbell) mercantile store. In 1847, he migrated to Texas and worked in another brother's store. He returned to Lafayette County, Missouri as his first wife died in Jan. 1, 1859 and was buried in Lafayette County,Missouri.
