Mr. Pless was born December 27, 1941 in Toccoa, GA to Harles Monroe Pless and Mary Paree Taylor Pless. He was a retired mechanic from West Point Stephens in Calhoun Falls, SC and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Survivors include his wife Nettie Looney Pless; son Barry Pless of Elberton, GA; daughter Annetta R. Peneguy of Elberton, GA; sisters Nancy Blackmon of Athens, GA, Nellie Capell of Elberton, GA; brothers Johnny Pless of Elberton, GA, Fred Pless of Crawford, GA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence Pless and Charles Pless.
Mr. Pless wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
