He graduated from Duncan High School in 1977 and then acquired a welding certificate from Red River Technology Center. He was employed as a service technician for Arkla Gas for 20 years. After his retirement from Arkla, he worked for Goodner’s Supermarket until his passing. He married Regina Fay Hicks on February 7, 1981.
He loved watching western movies and listening to the Oldies – ‘70’s rock music. He adored his granddaughter and enjoyed his family very much.
David is survived by his wife, Regina; his daughters, Emily Deanna Westbrook of Duncan and Elizabeth and husband Aaron Patterson of Lawton; his granddaughter, Miriam Jane Patterson; his sister, Deanna Blankenship of Duncan; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joshua Miller Westbrook; and many aunts and uncles.
