Margaret Gentry Painter age 90 died Sunday evening, November 27, 2016 at Roxboro Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born October 7, 1926 in Person County to the late John and Maggie Carver Gentry. Five brothers and four sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Painter was wife of the late Eveird Clinton Painter (Butch).
She was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Painter was retired from Eaton.
Surviving are two daughters, Vickie Painter Solomon & husband, Michael of Timberlake and Pamela Painter Zimmerman & husband, Gordon of Roxboro; two grandchildren, Laura Clayton & husband, Stephen and Justin Zimmerman & wife, Chealsea; three great grandchildren: Lexie Kay Clayton, Levi Holden Clayton, and Liam Hudson Clayton.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church with the Rev. Barry Chambers officiating and a private burial will immediately follow at the church cemetery.
