Yolanda Suarez, age 73, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.
Mrs. Suarez was born in Bryan, Ohio on January 16, 1943, daughter of the late Antonio Perez and Mercedes (Pena) Perez.
She graduated from North Side High School in 1962 and married Heriberto O. Suarez on April 2, 1966 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Mrs. Suarez was a dedicated wife, homemaker and mother.
Survivors include: Her husband of 50 years, Heriberto Suarez of Fort Wayne;
Daughters, Rosa and Louie Guerrero of Fort Wayne; Yolanda and Joaquin Guzman of Fort Wayne; Christina Christopher Snarr of Muncie; Ann Marie Bonifacio Alvarado of Fort Wayne;
and Caroline Suarez of Fort Wayne; Sons, Heriberto O. Suarez, Jr. of Fort Wayne and Thomas Peter Suarez of Fort Wayne. 11 grandchildren: Christopher "Andy" Snarr, Corey Snarr, Steven Alvarado, Erica Guzman, Ricardo "Ricky" Borjas, Jr., Jose Guzman, Celina Snarr, Carlos Borjas, Ruben Alvarado, Raquel Guerrero, and Vanessa Borjas.
Yolanda was preceded in death by her brothers, Manuel Perez, John Perez and Antonio Perez.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 2:00 - 5:00 PM at El Lirio De Los Valle, 2032 Morris Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
There will be a prayer service at 5:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at El Lirio De Los Valle with calling an hour prior to the funeral. Services will be officiated by Pastor Rene Campos and Rev. David Pena, Jr.
Burial will follow at Concordia Cemetery Gardens in Fort Wayne.
