Chester James Sternaman, 74, of 441 Williams Blvd. died at 9:25 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 1968, at Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Sternaman was born in Springfield, the son of John R. and Lulu [sic] Lamkin [sic] Sternaman.
His wife, Bertha, died in June of 1961.
Mr. Sternaman was a former part owner of Sternaman Foundry, Inc.
Mr. Sternaman was a member of the West Side Christian church, St. Paul's Lodge 500, AF&AM and Elmwood Commandery.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Curry of Springfield; one son, Carl M. of Decatur; and three grandchildren.
Services were at Ellinger and Kunz Funeral Home.
Burial was in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
