Obituary: Jacob Kiehl died at 3:30 o'clock this morning at his home, No. 22 North Marshall street, from a complication of diseases. He was in his eighty-first year, was born in Mt. Joy but resided in this city since young manhood. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad Company as a bridge builder for forty-seven years. His wife, who was Miss Wise, of Elizabethtown, and one daughter, Mrs. Daniel McEvoy, survive. Three grand-children also survive. (Lancaster Intelligencer - April 7, 1917)
