BRIDGETON, Ind., June 7 — Silas Andrus, 65 years old, died Monday afternoon at his residence in Jackson township following a lingering illness. The body has been taken from the Benson Funeral Home to the residence and Wednesday morning it will be removed to Midland, Indiana for funeral services and burial. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Gertie Andrus; a stepson, Ernest Craig, of Winslow, Indiana, and three nieces, Mrs. George Haudson and Mrs. Kate Pate, of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, and Mrs. Charles Ishum, of Vicksburg, Indiana.
