Funeral services for Addie Jackie Austin, 72, who died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 1997 will be held Saturday at 11 am from the graveside in Evergreen Cemetery (Gate #6) with Bro. Pat Vaughan officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home. Mrs. Austin was a native of Baxley, GA and a longtime resident of Jacksonville, FL. She was a member of East Forty-Fourth Street Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, the late Joseph Austin. She is survived by her son, Joe L. Austin (Theresa); a sister, Diane Holmon Brock; 3 grandchildren, Janice, Jason, and Chrissy Austin.
