DR. DOUGLAS ROTHCHILD PASSES IN DETROIT

Word has been received in Ironwood of the passing of Dr. Douglas Rothchild, son of Mrs. Elsie Rothchild and the late Wm. Rothchild of Hollywood, Cal. Doctor Rothchild died on November 1, at Detroit, Michigan where he has been a practicing physician.

The deceased was born in Ironwood in April, 1885. He was graduated from the Ironwood high school in 1902 and was the captain of the football team of that year. He was also a graduate of the Ann Arbor Medical college and the Detroit College of Medicine.

He is survived by his mother and widow, and also a sister, Jennie (Mrs. Leon Shauer) of Hollywood.
