After moving to Los Angeles, California, Lola married James M. McClure and lived there several years. They had one son, Maurice, who was born and raised in California. In 1965, Jim and Lola retired and built a home on the family farm at Pine Snag. After Jim passed away on June 29, 1985, Lola sold the farm to her sister, Nola and nephew John Robert Wright. She moved into Heber Springs where she resided near the Spring Park. She spent her last few years at Beverly Healthcare.
Survivors include a son, Maurice McClure; two grandsons; Jason and Mo McClure; a niece, Patricia of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a nephew Mike of Little Rock, Arkansas, several great nieces and nephews and several Ghent cousins as well as other relatives and many friends.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2005, at the Good Springs Cemetery with Arwood Haile officiating. Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Beverly Healthcare. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
