Second wife was Sarah Rose Mary Zubly. Children: Matthias Ardis, Mary Ardis Simkins, John Ardis, Rohannah Sophia Ardis Nail, Eliza Ardis Galphin, Abram Ardis, David Ardis, and Henry Zubly Ardis.
