Irene Carr, age 82, of Greers Ferry, Arkansas, went to be with Jesus while at St. John's Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday morning, April 16, 2005. Born in Prim, Arkansas, on April 19, 1922, she was the daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Verser) Carlton. A longtime resident of Cleburne County, Mrs. Carr was a homemaker. She was the greatest mother and grandmother after God's own heart. She was a member of the Greers Ferry First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her husband, Thurman Robert (Bob) Carr of Greers Ferry; one son, T. R. Carr of Hazelwood, Missouri, and his wife, Lucy, and their son, Doug; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Hill of Ballwin, Missouri, and her husband, Frank W. Hill, and their children, Craig Boling and wife, Courtney, Ryan Boling, Tiffany Leister and husband, Randy, and their son, James Ryan, and Jennifer Brittany Hill. two brothers, Jeff Carlton and Julian Carlton; and one sister, Mary Lee Stark. Mrs. Carr is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 18, at the Greers Ferry First Assembly of God Church beginning at 3:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 19, at 10:00 A.M. in the Greers Ferry First Assembly of God Church with Pastor Jeremy Smith and T. R. Carr officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cross Roads Cemetery. Pallbearers will be T. R. Carr, Doug Carr, Frank W. Hill, Craig Boling, Ryan Boling, and Randy Leister. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
