Janet Rueping, age 91, of Green Lake, WI, (formerly of Milwaukee, WI) passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Janet was born October 15, 1925, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Walter and Madeline (Hoffman) Baumgartner. She graduated from high school and went on to further her education at Northwestern University. On September 9, 1950, Janet married Frederick Rueping in Fond du Lac. She was a homemaker and also a graphics designer and artist.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie (Glenn) Pelletier of Broomfield, CO; son, Thomas (Judy Zacharski) Rueping of Marco Island, FL and one granddaughter, Cathy Baird of Broomfield, CO.
Janet was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Frederick and granddaughter, Carrie Baird.
A Private Prayer Service will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Father John Schmitz will officiate.
