Mrs. Blanche Sewell Hall, age 80, of Dothan passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 at her residence after an extended illness.

Born April 19, 1936 in Echo to the late Irby Sewell and Lina Snell Sellers, she was a member of Greystone Methodist Church. She retired from Borden “Supreme Meadow Gold.”

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by “Bud” Lavaughn Hall, her grandparents, Almer and Hattie Baldwin Snell and Ellie and Mattie Cook Sewell, Marilyn Hall Turner, Betty Hagler Hall, and her step-father, Rudolf Sellers.

Survivors include Charles Hall of Kinsey, Gene Hall (Gene Hanahan) of Birmingham, Linda Ward and family of Echo, Rex Stephens and family of Echo, David Baldwin Sewell; nieces, Ramona Woods of Ocala, FL, Connie Lynn Reinhardt, her husband Mike and son, Mathew of Lincoln, Nebraska, Anita Turner Duke and her husband Bruce of Dothan; great-nephew, Tony Ray Duke and his daughter Alyssa Marie; great-niece, Sophia Kaye Peneka, her husband Roth and children Sloan and Rylan of Lincoln, Nebraska.

She also leaves behind her Methodist family, valued friends, Rexine Lee, Bill and Margaret Owens, O’Neal and Jimmy Robinson, John and Lacquetta Sanders, and Carol Smith.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stephanie Cox and Reverend John Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Greystone Methodist Church.
