Feather River Bulletin 4 Sep 1911 - Col. Timothy Kyle went out to the Quincy cemetery last week, and after making a search, found the grave of his old mining partner with whom he worked in Hungarian Gulch before Mr. Kyle left Plumas in 1858. He expected to find the grave unmarked and to place over it a suitable monument. This pleasant duty was denied him for a nice stone had already been place over the grave by some relative or friend. The name of his mining partner was Alvie Cole, who died in 1879, at the age of 58 years.

Cemetery had Alva Cole.
