Rachel (center of photo) was the mother of seven children (by her husband Albert H.): Albert Jr., Laura Jane, John Franklin, Clinton W., Mary, Samuel S., and Lila. According to her granddaughter, she was a "strong, hard worker, but had a wonderful sense of humor." Her daughter Laura Jane is on the right in the photo, and her granddaughter Rachel is on the left.
