Mrs. Amelia M. Rice, 86, widow of Roscoe Rice, 5 Fulton Street, died at 4:45 P.M. Monday at W. C. A. Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1862 in Milesburg, Pa., daughter of Robert and Nancy Shank Malone, she resided in that vicinity and in Kane, Pa., until coming to Jamestown 35 years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Kane. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Stites and Mrs. Earle Leach, both of Jamestown; a brother, Robert Malone, Windgate, Pa.; eight grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; and four greatgreat-grandchildren. The body will be at the Powers Funeral Home here until Wednesday morning, when it will be taken to the Cummings Funeral Home, Kane, Pa., for funeral services at 2:30 P.M. Thursday. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Kane.
