Jennings Jones, 83, of Londonderry, died 11:08 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016 in the Chillicothe VA Medical Center.

He was born May 10, 1933, in Mt. Carbon, WV, to the late Samuel L. and Ruby Hall Jones.

On November 5, 1955, he married the love of his life, of London, England, she survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, of Chillicothe; a son, of Chillicothe; two grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

Jennings retired from the United States Air Force following 21 years of service.

He also retired from the Chillicothe VA Medical Center.

Jennings was a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017, in Ware Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Concord Township Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
