Emma L. Carr, 80 years old of Elyria, Ohio passed away at her home the morning of Wednesday, August 7, 2019 following a short illness. Emma was born in Cabin Creek, West Virginia on September 4, 1938 and made her home in Elyria for the past 50 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed crafts and cooking. She was a member of the VFW Post 1079 Auxiliary.
Surviving are one daughter, Debbie (Dennis) Johnson of North Ridgeville; a granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson of Elyria and a great grandson, Cole Johnson of Elyria; siblings Velma Tawney of Elyria, Freddie Jones of Cleveland, George Jones of West Virginia and Brenda Hayes of West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Carr in 2012; and her parents, Sam and Ruby (nee Hall) Jones.
Friends may call at the Reichlin Roberts Funeral Home, 327 Cleveland Street, Elyria, Ohio in Friday, August 9, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of services at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.
