ROSE DRAPEAU, 86, of Oak Avenue, a retired jewelry worker, died Wednesday at Miriam Hospital, Providence.
Born in Costaleone, Italy, a daughter of the late Carmelo and Juiseppina (Barboscio) Preite, she had lived in East Providence for four years, previously residing in Providence.
She was a jewelry worker for Bright's Mfg. Co. for 26 years, retiring in 1987.
She was an avid seamstress.
She leaves a son, Daniel A. Drapeau of Riverside; three brothers, Gus Preite of East Providence, Russell Preite of Barrington and Michael Preite in Florida; and six sisters, Edith Amatrono, Josephine L'Europe and Yola Martino, all of Johnston, Terry Sousa of Warren, Angela Dupont of Bristol and Victoria Lamoia of Miami. She was the sister of the late Louis Preite and Robert Pratt
