"HANGEN, Phillip J., age 44, of 65 S. State St., Phillipsburg, passed away Saturday at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was employed at Royal Crest Dairy for the past 23 years. He was a member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie and three sons, Curtis, Mark and David, all at home; eight sisters, Mrs. Isabelle Wolfe of West Alexandria, Mrs. Dorothy Sanders of Dayton, Mrs. Emily Myers, Miss Mary Hangen, Miss Phyllis Hangen, Mrs. Jennie Ruth Share and Mrs. Doris Clark, all of Phillipsburg, and Mrs. Esther Reimuller of Dayton; four brothers, William of Phillipsburg, Ralph of Potsdam, Richard of Verona and Jim of Union; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Rev. L. E. Frederick officiating. Interment Arlington Cemetery." The Journal Herald (Dayton, Ohio), February 8, 1971
