"BROOKVILLE -- Mrs. Jennie Myrtle Hangen, 58, died Friday at her home west of Phillipsburg. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hay and Powell funeral home there. She is survived by her husband, Philip Peter; seven daughters, Mrs. Isabelle Wolfe of Germantown, Mrs. Dorothy Sanders of Dayton, Mrs. Emily Myers of West Milton, Mrs. Jennie Ruth Share of Phillipsburg, and Mary, Phyllis and Doris at home; five sons, William and Ralph of Phillipsburg, Philip and Jimmy at home and Pfc Richard, en route home from Korea; 14 grandchildren; and two brothers, Ralph and Harold Pansing of Phillipsburg. Burial will be in Parish cemetery." Dayton Daily News (Dayton, Ohio), August 11, 1952
